DAZE PARADE

The Virden Indoor Rodeo & Wild West Daze parade is a well organized event that draws all ages on the Saturday of the rodeo weekend.  Local and provincial businesses and service clubs are represented through floats or decorated vehicles. The fire department provides their display of trucks while demolition cars, ready for Sundays event, bring up the rear. The iconic covered wagon bearing the Virden Indoor Rodeo logo, which is seen in many locations throughout the weekend, will proudly carry dignitaries or honoured award winners. Riders of the community supporting the western culture travel along the route reminding us that the much loved rodeo weekend is shared through all generations.
